The hotel stands within the restored Royal Estate of Pollenzo, commissioned by King Carlo Alberto of Savoy. This remarkable architectural complex, built in 1833, was designed to house the Agenzia—the administrative headquarters of the Savoy family and, in the King’s vision, a model agricultural estate.
Staying within these walls means stepping into the past of Pollenzo and discovering the history of the Real Podere, which played a central role in shaping the future of Piedmontese wine.
Our idea of hospitality is inspired by the principles of the Slow Food movement: respect for the land, for those who cultivate it and for those who experience it.
We collaborate with La Banca del Vino and selected producers to introduce our guests to wines and Presidia from all over Italy. We believe in conscious travel — where every choice, from our welcome to the dishes served in our restaurant, gives value back to food, traditions and people.
