Nestled among the rolling hills of Langhe and Roero, Albergo dell’Agenzia is part of the Pollenzo Estate, one of the 16 Royal Residences of the House of Savoy and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Between 1830 and 1850, the Estate and its administrative center – the “Agenzia” – were a pioneering hub of agricultural and enological research, where visionary winemakers played a decisive role in shaping the future of Piedmontese wine.
After decades of abandonment, the entire Carlo Albertine complex was restored in the late 1990s thanks to an initiative led by Carlo Petrini, founder of the Slow Food movement. Since 2004, the Estate has been home not only to the Hotel, but also to the University of Gastronomic Sciences, the Banca del Vino, and Ristorante Garden.
Through our hospitality and close collaboration with each of these institutions, a stay in Pollenzo is an invitation to immerse yourself in the historic charm of the Estate and experience what makes it so unique today.
Set between Alba and Bra, Albergo dell’Agenzia rises within an ancient hamlet where history and gastronomy unfold at a slow, relaxed pace—always best enjoyed with a good glass of wine.
Inspired by 19th-century elegance and dedicated to the great crus of Langhe and Roero, our rooms are the ideal starting point for an unforgettable and charming stay.
